IMPORTANT UPDATE: Either on, or after, August 11, 2016, Reclaiming the Sacred may no longer be hosted at the current web domain of ReclaimingtheSacred.com.

Reclaiming the Sacred will still exist, but it is highly likely that the domain address will revert to a free WordPress account.

ReclaimingtheSacred.com will not automatically re-route visitors to this new address, so if you pop up one day and see some sort of strange “this site no longer exists” message….don’t believe it!

Just head here instead:

ReclaimingtheSacred.wordpress.com

Same address, with the only difference being that the phrase “wordpress” is between the site title and the “.com” ending.

You know, the whole “free WordPress account” thing.

So… heads up!:-)

On another note…

If I do get suddenly inspired, I may keep the official web domain address, but I am not counting on it.

I am not counting on it because what I have to say is no longer what I wanted to say four years ago when I started off as the Catholic Nomad.

Truth be told, what I want to say has not been the same for a number of years now.

No, I am not leaving the Catholic Church, or becoming a “liberal Catholic,” so no worries there.

Nor am I leaving behind my desire to see the triumph of the Traditional Catholic Faith.

I am just leaving behind my desire to see the triumph of the Traditional Catholic Faith as I have experienced it over the last five years, and in many of my travels.

Because if what I experienced in Phoenix, Arizona, and Venice, Florida, and Lincoln, Nebraska, and Rome, Italy and yes…even in the good ol’ heartland of Kansas…  as well as numerous other places that I will not name here… if that is the Traditional Catholic Faith…. then why on earth do any of us think that there are so many people out there who absolutely hate us?

Don’t traditionalists see that if they bring this back, they have the chance to reclaim the spirit of Joan of Arc, or Catherine of Siena, or Francis of Assisi, or Anthony of Padua…or any of the great saints that have soared so high?

You know…the Holy Spirit?

With the Grace of God, we can reclaim the soul of the Church, and a faith that can change the world!

Or, we can just bring back a lot of really mean people in super nice clothes.

You know, the type of people who made enough enemies for us that we ended up in the situation we are in today.

It is your choice.

Tradition historically created both kinds.

My question is: what kind is it making of you?

Moving On

These things I do want to explore, for I think they are extremely important… but I do not want to necessarily explore them here, in this blog.

After all, we cannot win this fight by relying only on blogs and comments and tirades from angry posters who are still stewing over some random guy at Twitter that totally dissed him the other day…

Not that those things do not have their place, for they do…

…but only God has the answer.

I don’t.

And He is bringing it.

Perhaps faster than we may know.
